Some soundtracks you get sick of, some grow on you. I'm about ready to fire 'Braveheart'. However, 'Children of Dune' gets better every time I listen to it.

Guests from Houston seem to be doing well. Rita appears to be veering away from Houston proper, so they are cautiously optimistic that they will have some house to return to. I think they were really, really lucky to have left they did by the route that they took. Some of the travel times I'm hearing have been horrible.

I was able to get some good sleep in, and visited the random chiropractor. ( more about the random chiropractor )

(no subject)

This upside-down eating thing I've been trying is working really well, at least from the 'how I feel' standpoint. I'm eating my lunch during my first break, and my snacks at lunch and maybe my second break. And I'm generally eating earlier on my days off, rather than seeing how long I can hold out 'til I'm starving. I feel a hell of a lot better. I don't know if it's going to have any effect on my weight, but seeing as how I'm not eating any more that I was before I'm not sure how it could.

Call volume is surprisingly low today. That's nice.
