So unit meeting was yesterday, and we decided to eat off-site. They sat us at a table too small for the number of people there were, which made it rather unpleasant. Then I discovered I had a flat tire. Fortunately I have AAA, and a tow truck was there in a half-hour or so. He put my spare on, which I had pretty much forgotten about, and am not sure I would've trusted it if I'd remembered it anyway. I got the car to the tire place and entired with little hassle. It could've been a lot worse.

One of the bosses at work (not my own) has a birthday today, so Kirby and I decided to take her out to dinner at the Melting Pot since she is such a nice person. She was thrilled, and really seemed to enjoy the whole fondue experience. It was hard to get her to make up her mind about stuff; she kept saying "what do you want to get?" since fondue is a group decision kind of meal. I don't know how many times Kirby and I said "you get to decide; it's your birthday!" but decisions were eventually made and it was good. We did the veggie option, and had the Swiss cheese for the cheese course, and dark chocolate with Kahlua for dessert.

It was late when we got home, but I wanted to swim and get some movement in the ol' bod so I didn't end up putting it straight to bed full of cheese and chocolate. The pool is about as clear as can be and the Moon was almost full. It was a nice swim, even though I didn't end up going to bed until almost midnight.

This article on the site called 'And They Lived Happily Ever After' that I took a jab at last week starts off with the sentence "Everything a woman values most in life can be directly attributed to her husband's penis."

This got hub and I into an interesting discussion, as one might imagine. So this poll is for the dudes. If you had to choose between having a penis and losing enough IQ points to lower it to, say, 80... or losing Little [Your Name] and keeping your current intelligence level, which would you choose? Rather than say someone points a gun to your head and makes you chose, which is typical in these scenarios but so unpleasant, let's say you will get a million dollars if you make the choice.
