Since I know everyone's dying to hear more about the floor situation...
On Friday dude said it would be done by Monday. They did a bit of work Saturday (the previously mentioned muddy green addition), and nothing Sunday. They showed up today around 1:30 and asked if we wanted another coat in the living room, and if so, what color... I said YES (cover up the damn patches, idiots!) and unless they have a really green green, to go ahead and just do another coat of blue. They also said they'd do another coat in the kitchen, which doesn't really need it but as long as they don't screw with the color it should be fine.
Dude apparently said the color in the living room is so dull because we don't have good lighting. &%$@!*$#!! So they will do another coat over the whole thing, build up the ramps that transition from the concrete areas to the tiled/carpeted areas, and seal it all. They tell us this will all be done today. Excuse me if I've made my roll to disbelieve.
Oh, and Dad wants to move Wednesday, as soon as I hit town from the bus ride. So I will take a bus from Austin to Eagle Pass, then immediately drive from Eagle Pass to Sweetwater, and if hub shows up that evening and wants to go back right then, maybe drive but more hopefully ride from Sweetwater to Austin in one day. Yikes!
