Hub just made me some bacon. If I ever went totally veggie, I think I would have the hardest time giving up bacon.
Last night we went to Paul's for a New Moon social event. As is standard for during-the-week social activities, attendance was low, but still, a good time was had. He offered to give me a 55 gallon aquarium he was getting rid of, which I am seriously considering. I stared at his set-up for most of the evening... he had at least a dozen different types of fish (unlike my 3) including a fascinating one called a glass fish. He also mentioned that a large aquarium was actually less hassle than a small one since it tends to take longer to fuck up the chemical balance. So, I may decide to take him up on it. I would have to check how much this would actually cost, since he'd only be giving me the aquarium, and I would need to buy a hood, filters, and all that stuff. I also don't know that it would be safe on a coffee table like my 10-gallon is now, so maybe I would need to get a stand or something. Time to do some research.
