I want to strangle someone. After delaying us for a week and not calling us back hub finally pinned the fucking contractor down, who promised he'd start on the floors today. We've made 101 arrangements to be out of the house for 4 days and hub busted his ass making sure all the furniture was moved. It was very disruptive and sucky. Now here it is, almost 11am, and no one has shown up to start the work. Hub has called, and of course there is no answer and he left a message. This fucking sucks, and means if they don't start tomorrow they'll be working through Friday. I had planned to help hub start putting things back in order on Friday, because I have a stupid fucking mandatory training most of the day Saturday. Then the next weekend I'm supposed to be helping my dad move. Those rotten, pus-filled, uncle-fucking, cocksucking asshole contractors had better be on their way to our house.

What IS it with contractors? I swear, they have their own schedule, and gawds help us if we can ever know what that is.

It's not like they can offer a reasonable excuse, or give a break on the dratted price for the inconvenience they cause :P

Not even a bit. After hub made left a second, more bitchy phone message they called and said 'guys are on their way over.' No apologies or anything. I talked to him at 2pm and they still hadn't arrived. Feh.
