Well, I've discovered the joys of what is apparently called a spinal headache. Depending on the size of the needle used (and I have no idea what size he used) it can happen in 3/4ths of people that get spinal blocks. They can start as long as a day after the procedure and last for a week and have something to do with spinal fluid pressure dropping. Fuck. Apparently, barring other invasive solutions the best way to get rid of them is to lie down, and drink caffeine. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I can barely focus. I wish I hadn't skipped work last week, I desperately want to go home. I guess I'll try to stick it out at least 'til lunch. Only 4 more hours.
I was all geared up for Lammas yesterday, but was feeling so bad I asked River to HPS it for me. It went wonderfully. I was disappointed at the turn-out; even though it was a Trad ritual no one outside of my group showed up except River and her husband. But that was just fine anyway- we really did some good work; the power just built and built. The new Dedicants practically glowed. Yay!
Today hub gets to try to move all the furniture and appliances out of the living room and kitchen and utility room... floor guy is due to arrive Monday. I'll be happy when this is over. I'm sure he will be too.
