Dad's wife has mentioned the possibility of something called a saddle block, which is like a simple epidural- one injection into the spine- and sounds a lot more pleasant than getting injections in my cervix, which is what a local will involve. I shall ask about that.
Hub finally reached concrete wanker, who apologized and set the start date for Monday, 8/5. We will have to be out of the house for 4 days. I thought we might be able to lock the kitties up in the master bedroom with their food and the litter box in the bathroom, but 4 days is kind of a long time... hub's wondering about having a ladder to climb into the window and check on them. Hmmm, yeah. So we're looking for a place to live for 4 days... Gordon has okayed us staying at his place, but it's a small place. It's close by, though. Eric's also going to ask his dad, who is living with his girlfriend- she has a big house, but lives kind of far off. Neither could accommodate 3 cats. :(
I will be glad when this is all done. I wonder what Lammas is gonna be like, because we're going to have to move all of the furniture and appliances off into various places, a bunch of it will be in the garage. Sheesh, what a pain.
I woke up feeling all groggy and ooky this morning, so I took 1/2 the day off. Bean and Colin and Bob came over last night, and I was just not feeling very cheery. I don't know if it's the SJW or what. I feel bad that I was such rotten company... if only they came over on non-school nights more! Still we watched amusing Adult Swim and ate chocolate.
