So, yes indeed, I was able to hit that. Lucky me! Oh yeah!

Before this, though, he had to put up with my sleep-deprived and undercaffienated crabbiness. He had gone to pick up a used sewing machine (featured here), since he knows how to sew. Yes- he earns most of the household income, cooks, and sews. What do I do, one might ask? I fill the house with my own brand of quiet wisdom, plus I have the vagina. Oh, and I rescue him from insects; he hates those. And I do laundry sometimes, and remind him of his parents' birthdays. He says he will teach me to sew. Who wants curtains?

We went to look for flooring for his computer room. He was going to just paint the slab with garage-floor grey, but that ended up not working because it was harder to get the crap off the slab than he'd figured. Also, he painted the walls (since all the crap was out of there anyway) a very nice, Republican hunter green and the garage-grey would have looked awful. The next cheapest and easiest option was Lee press-on vinyl, and we found some that looks like planks of wood. We picked a color called 'Golden Oak' which is a light, warm color. I think it will look pretty nice.

Today for lunch I had Whole Foods spring rolls. I could eat those every day. I almost have; for the last two months or so I've had them at least a couple of times a week. It helps that I feel like they are good for me as well as delicious. Maybe the peanut sauce isn't the best, but there's not that much of it. I get to have them tomorrow too! Yay!

I don't mind the new LJ design, but are we now not able to post to our custom friends groups anymore? That's not really cool...
