In other news, I went to get my car inspected and get the oil changed. I was going to go yesterday, but Tuesdays are Ladies Days and you supposedly get $5 off if you lack a Y chromosome. But they did not give me the discount, perhaps because I did not shave my legs or I did not have a baby emerging from me at the time I was rung up to prove I was a lady. When I mentioned it, the manager made like he was going to dock the poor register guy, and I said that was not necessary. He said he was kidding, and gave me a coupon for an $8 car wash. So now my car is much cleaner than it was this morning, is inspected, and is not due for an oil change until... 9/11! Aieeee!

Maybe next time you can borrow someone else's baby and have it fall out of your pants onto the floor (a la Meaning of Life) when they ring you up...?
