I sense a trend.

Kickadee recently mentioned a Bluebell flavor I hadn't previously heard of called 'Dos Amigos', described on their website as "The unique flavoring of Mexican Vanilla swirled with a Mexican chocolate ice cream that has a hint of cinnamon." Then someone else mentioned that Häagen-Dazs has come out with a new flavor called 'Mayan Chocolate'- they describe it thus: "inspired by the original chocolate crafted by the Mayans more than 2500 years ago, we blend rich dark chocolate with a hint of cinnamon for a magical Mayan offering." I don't think of chocolate and cinnamon together, but this might bear investigation.

What? Never had Mexican hot chocolate, made with milk? Get thee to a supermarket. Chocolate and cinnamon and sugar were born to go together!

I guess I know what to make once we finish the "Earl Grey, Cold". We should take care of that soon.

Mexican hot chocolate is delicious! I'll definitely have to try the Mayan Chocolate ice cream.

Miss Kick and I used to have "Mexican Mocha" flavored coffee every once in a while, back in Eugene, at the little coffee stand at my old workplace. It was good stuff. That's what got us hooked on that flavor :D

Cinnamon and chocolate go well together. I make chocolate cake (when I make from a box) using cinnamon applesauce in place of oil. It makes a denser, more moist cake from the applesauce, a hint of wheeeeeee! from the cinnamon, and I take out some of the fat and calories.

it's a win-win!

Ooh I'll have to look for that when I can't find Dos Amigos again.! (They don't seem to put it out that often.)

Heh I don't know how the Mayans would have *had* cinnamon, but still sounds yummy! It just makes the chocolate oh so mildly spicy in a good way. It tastes *right* somehow to me anyway.
