We spent some more time in the water for the Full Moon in Scorpio, and I used sunscreen this time. Spent a lot of time sitting in the hot tub at night, messing with the pool during the day. It's gotten Texas-hot now, earlier than expected. It doesn't seem right- we were having all these cool, rainy days, and all of a sudden we're in a drought and having record-breaking high temperatures. Feh. I wouldn't otherwise mind except that it's gotten so buggy. Wasps and mosquitoes- aarrhg!

I had a long talk with the hub about love and happiness and relationships and stuff... suffice it to say, I think it is proof that the Universe loves me that I found this man.

LJ's birthday alert feature is apparently kaput, and I didn't realize it was todfox's birthday until he mentioned it to me. So I asked if hub would be willing to cook for us, and after some deliberating he agreed. At 4pm. To cook for 5 people. And he pulled it off, too- stuffed mushroom caps, baked tomato halves with mozzarella and croutons, fried zucchini with home made dill and honey mustard dip or garlic marinara dip... and chocolate cake. I was stuffed! We watched amusing George Carlin then put 'Airplane!' in, a classic comedy and origin of many pet phrases of mine ("What a pisser!" comes to mind). Then suddenly it was midnight and I got verrrrry sleeeepy. I crashed half-way through the movie.

Today has been sort of up and down. I've gotten pissy callers all day, and I'm getting frustrated and starting to feel my polite phone personality start to dissolve. On the other hand, I had my yearly review and my boss apparently thinks I am a paragon among state drones. This gets me no more money, sadly, but it's nice to know I can spend this much time surfing the net and still impress the management. Go, me!

Hi Mielikki,

I saw your note about being in Texas on the Witchcraft community and decided to check your personal site. I'm in Pflugerville! I've heard of Phoenix Moon, but attempts to contact them haven't been successful. Do y'all have someone in particular that handles "inquiries" or those interested in the group?

I hope you don't mind me bothering you here, but I was so surprised! Texas is so big that it's rare to find someone in the same area.

Huh! I get all the letters at my account at home; I think there are a couple I've gotten in the last few days that I haven't responded to, but other than those I've answered all inquiries. I'll email you when I get home. Sorry about that!

No problem, it was a while back I tried to e-mail and it bounced. So, I spoke with another HPS in the area who said she knew you (Rosearrow) and would speak to you about me. She kept forgetting or didn't make PNO or whatever. So, I just chalked it up to fate not wanting me to contact you at that time. :) I'll send you an e-mail now and we can talk there.
