I went to pick
todfox up, and while I was their his friend Amy popped by to visit him. So I asked if she wanted to come along- she lives up in our area anyway so she agreed. We all arrived home to a house filled with the wonderful smells of home cooking- mostly garlic. *drool* We had a stupendously wonderful meal of stuffed tomatoes and stuffed mushroom caps, and a sort of risotto primavera- creamy, cheesy and vegetabley. Amy had said she wasn't hungry but was tempted by the mushrooms, and tried a bit- everyone loved it. Another success by Iron Chef Round Rock!
We went back and forth about what movie to watch... no one seemed to be feeling especially decisive. We finally settled on 'Big Trouble in Little China' which is so very cheesy- evil-ex could practically quote the entire movie and it featured prominently in at least one D&D campaign. It was much fun. Then we sat and chatted for awhile, and Kit downloaded a show called' Tokyo Breakfast' that was quite surreal. Amy told us stories of life as a Radio Shack employee and was very funny and entertaining, as was Kit with his tales of horror at Half-Price, aka Crap Everywhere (the Celebriducks! aaaah!). I was disappointed that my energy level took a nosedive close to midnight and I had to end the evening so I could get some sleep, though I felt like we could have stayed up talking for another couple of hours or so. It was good to see Kit and meet his friend. Today I am pretty sleepy though. zzzzzzzz
