I enjoyed a nice long weekend, because I'm helping a guy out at work who is going to school... he will work Sundays for me, and I will work Wednesdays for him. This is just for April.
Hub's contract ended Friday, so he is technically unemployed. He is gonna see what the odds are that he can pick up enough small and short-term jobs (and he seems to be finding a lot of them) to make up for it; I hope he can get a regular 'customer base'.
I am pretty much over the caffeine withdrawal... the only caffeine I have now is chocolate. In other food news, I discovered the most wooonderful breakfast- one of those toaster round waffles (gah! those things are crack!) and a yogurt, any flavor, with granola in it. I hate to say I got that idea from McDonald's; they have this tasty fruit parfait thing which layers strawberries and blueberries with yogurt, and gives you some nice crunchy granola to mix in with it. I'm sure that by the very fact that McDonald's makes it, it must be horribly bad for you somehow- but with low-fat versions of these things at home, it's still pretty dang yummy.
