Alright, I've found a downside to my new dining schedule, where I eat lunch during my first break instead of at lunch.
My sense of timing is all messed up. Since forever, I'm used to thinking "okay, I've had lunch, therefore my shift is half over." And now this is no longer true. This means the workday is taking fucking forever to be done. I don't know why, but today seems especially bad. I feel like I've been at work for 12 hours. Good lord. I've checked my email and LJ and whatnot a brazillion times and taken a bunch of calls, and still it drags...... on. Gah!
I need to remember to bring a book to work. I could at least be reading something. Not that I can bring anything that requires a lot of concentration, since interruption is legion at this job. But I have enough floofy fiction that I could be ploughing through.
