As a rule I hate advertising, and I don't like beer either, but this ad kicks a whole lot of ass. Being Australian makes it better. Thanks to prodigal for the pointer.

I don't like beer much, and although I'm fascinated by advertising methods, I don't love commercial ads...but I really like Red Stripe "hurray beer" ads. Recently, I heard a "hurray responsibility" ad from the same folks.

And kind of catchy. I've caught myself saying "hurray fill-in-the-blank" with exactly that inflection ;))

I do that at times, myself. I think my favorite one of the Red Stripe spots was there one where the announcer says that if a particular event happened, "we would have to have an old-fashioned Jamaican stick fight . . . and I would win."
