What were you doing...
Five years ago: I'd just gotten hitched a couple of months previously and been in the house for a couple more. I was working at Texas Rehabilitation Commission and growing very frustrated and unhappy with that job.
One year ago: Recovering from hysterectomy surgery, taking a lot of naps.
Yesterday: Did some chores, picked up the pump from the pool store, went to the lake right before rush hour.
Today: Not sleeping. Coming to work. Feeling like ass.
Tomorrow: Hopefully less assness; work after a full night's sleep then back to House of Mellow.
Five snacks I enjoy: dark chocolate anything, donuts, ice cream, chips and queso and guacamole, fried cheeeeese
Five bands that I know the lyrics of MOST of their songs: El Bando de Dave Matthews, Simon y Garfunkel, Si, Los Policios, El Grupo del Azul Hombres
Five things I would do with $100,000,000: what, a million's not enough? Sheesh. The usual (quit, pay all the bills, buy golden rocket cars) plus maybe buy an island somewhere, and start a green community and only invite the coolest people to live there
Five locations I'd like to run away to: Santa Fe, NM.; Page, AZ.; Amsterdam; Helsinki; New Zealand
Five things I like doing: getting enough goddamn sleep, swimming nekkid, hot monkey love, eating a really good meal (mushrooms and artichokes sound good right about now), petting the cats while having a good read
Five things I wish I could wear: wear? I dunno, nothing would be nice.
Five TV shows I like: Simpsons, the Daily Show, Good Eats, Futurama, Stella
Five movies: Jacob's Ladder, Half-Baked, Altered States, Raising Arizona, Serenity
Five famous people I'd like to meet: Joss Whedon, Janeane Garofalo, Jon Stewart, Alton Brown... oh, I dunno, P.C.Hodgell. I would sit on her until she finished her next Jame book.
Five biggest joys at the moment: the idea of sleep. You think you're tired of hearing about it?
Five favorite toys: iPod, um... my computer... I'm not much of a toy person.
