It's all grouted, we just sealed the grout- all that remains is clean-up, and hub wants to caulk the top of the baseboard tiles. No one has pooped on it, not even the cats. I consider this a triumph.
The cat box has been residing in the bathroom. I've been tempted to leave it there, because since it's right by the terlit (and the litter's flushable) and it means the box is cleaned a lot more consistently... but now I'm thinking not. It's a pretty small room and the box detracts significantly from the bathroom's curb appeal, so to speak. But now I am le sad because the room is all in cool colors, and the litter and what comes out of the cats is all warm colors. This is quite inconvenient for me and unimaginably discourteous of the cats. We are all going to have a dialog about that real soon.

I do feel your pain on the litterbox feng shui thingy. My Kitty's box doesn't really match the room...so I've been thinking about getting one of these:

...Either that or a different colored litterbox (probably the less expensive option).
