I'm in one of those spaces where I'm lusting for jewelry. I have 5 items sitting on my eBay watch list. None of them are over $40, but I'm not getting them right now for a couple of reasons.

One, I'm not in a jewelry wearing mood. You'd think these two moods would sync up, but they don't. Right now I just want to hoard it like a dragon.

B, I'm broke. Well, I have money, but not enough to last me to the end of the month (I get paid once a month) and pay the bills I need to pay and splurge on jewelry. I already done spent my fun money this month.

Third, I don't need any more damn jewelry. I have tons of jewelry sitting around that I don't even wear.

I'm thinking of selling some of it on eBay. I have at least a few pieces I haven't even ever worn, and a ton more that I haven't worn in a really long time. For small items like jewelry it seems like packaging shouldn't be that big a deal. Heck, I have a package of cd mailers I could use. I'll let you know if I decide to do this. I have bought stuff off eBay since (checks) March of 1999, seems like I ought to try my hand at selling. Then I would be in a better position to justify increasing my hoard.

I feel your pain. The eagle flies for us only once a month, too. But my naughty vices are wanting to eat out too much and buying waaay too many smoothies. And now that you mention it...I do have a craving for some groovy hemp jewelry right about now. Maybe I can pawn my ironing board!
