Well, I'm having dog fever. Someone posted pictures of their sheltie puppy in a cute animal community and now I want one. I am sitting on this one 'til it goes away, however, because I have no business owning a dog. I would not be able to give him the attention he deserved, and getting two to keep each other company is way, way out of the question. We have 4 cats which is probably 2 more than necessary.

Oh, but I can dream. We had shelties when I was growing up, and they were a nice size- not like the lumbering labradors my dad liked, but not yappy-dog football size either. They were always so friendly and smiled all the time; in fact, the first pet I remember was an old girl named Happy. I love their cute li'l pointy ears too. They're like little foxy elf dogs.
