For reference: Wet & Wild Adventure Camp

Not what it sounds like. A co-worker runs this summer camp, and we were all talking about neat parks to go to and she pointed us to her site. It has pictures and directions to all sorts of places. I've just been to McKinney Falls (assload of pictures forthcoming) and plan to go to Hamiltom Pool when it's warmed up; but I haven't heard of Krause Springs- that place looks magnificent!

I've always wanted to try Krause Springs, but haven't yet. I don't think dogs are allowed there, so I probably won't, unfortunately. I feel guilty when I go outside and don't take Freya!

I used to LOVE Hamilton Pool, and I went to Lake Travis High so it was nearby where I lived. One visit, I found a large human turd floating in the water next to me, and I've never gone back there since.

Heh, it IS a lovely place, Butterfingers and all. Have you ever gone to Pedernales Falls? That's also a really nice park--probably my favourite within reasonable driving distance of Austin.
