I was in a band with Sheena, and wondering how I got there. We were in a studio for some of the dream, but there was an audience too- maybe they were listening to us record. Anyway, I was sort of confused and wondered what I was doing there. Sheena then handed me a strange instrument and looked at me expectantly, as if she'd seen me play it a hundred times. It looked like one of those chinese paper lamps that accordions open; rather than being round it was a cylinder, and the ends were star-shaped. Sheena began singing a capella and I started to panic, thinking "I have no idea how to play this thing!" and pulled it opened, and it made a discordant vaguely accordion-sounding wheeze. Everyone glanced at me, but more amused and forgiving that horrified, and Sheena continued singing without missing a beat. With no transition suddenly I was sitting next to a harp. Not a full-sized concert harp but not the small lap-sized one either; this one was maybe 4 1/2 feet high. All at once I felt much relieved and thought "I don't know the songs, but I can play the harp well enough to improvise" (note: I have never laid a hand on a harp in my waking life). We started another song and I plucked along, keeping up with everyone quite nicely even though I was just making it all up. I awoke with the Numeralia song that has the line "I lost you, but I found me" in my head. That's the problem with the iPods, if you stick a bunch of songs on it that you're not already familiar with, you never learn the names of the songs unless you look at the screen (which I rarely do). So, dream Mielikki plays the harp. Cool!
