Today I sort of withdrew into myself. I'm feeling a little funky. For one thing, my body's trying to have it's period. Sometimes I wonder if removing the uterus and leaving the ovaries is like putting a couple of children in a room and shutting the door, and assuming that because I can't see anything, everything's groovy. But they're still there, doing their thing, I just don't ever know when. Still beats the alternative. Before, they had submachine guns.
I slept a lot of today. It's partially the season, and it's what my body wants to do. I got up and made some incense which I plan to give to friends at Yule. Hope they like it.
Oh, we saw 'The Incredibles' the other day. Yeah, it was really schmaltzy but even though it got up in your face and screamed "It's heartwarming, dammit!!!" it was still funny and enjoyable. There was a preview for Star Wars 3, which looked (dare I say it) good. They're not pussy-footing around the fact that everyone in the world knows that this is the one where Anakin turns into a big jerk. Good for them.
Homer's in the shop for his 90k mile tune-up. Gailon says this one's the expensive one, but once I get it done, Homer will run well forever. So I'm driving hub's Acura. It's a standard, which is weird... I never learned to drive standard until I met him and he taught me how. I still have to think about it a lot while I'm driving. It beats taking the bus, though.
