It's a banana kind of day, it seems. I had banana bread for breakfast, and come to work and the lady who brings friendship bread every day and doesn't often repeat varieties over several weeks- today she brought, you guessed it, banana bread. I'm sure I can figure out a portent in that somehow. Banana! Banana!
In other news, Brö somehow missed my Pan fixation.
Mielikki: have you not noticed all the Pan stuff I've been gathering lately? The $600 statue etc. ?
Brö: Oh, it's a THEME.
Brö: I get it.
Mielikki: yeah
Brö: Pan was the flute guy? Who leads the kids to their deaths with his flute?
Brö: Or something?
Brö: Something about rats?
Mielikki: that was the Pied Piper
Brö: Oh. This is the peanut butter god or something?
Mielikki: *snorksnorksnork*
Mielikki: he's the one with goat legs who is the god of screwing and taking naps and eating your weight in cheese and hedonism in general
Brö: Oh, wow. I like this god!
Brö: In Spanish, he's known as Bread. ;)
