Another day at the salt mines. I definitely like this locale better than the one I had before- it seems quieter over here, and no one sits here at night, messing up the chair and getting fingerprints all over the screen. Of course, the cubicle of the shift I've requested is even more remote, and it's not shared with anyone (even on my days off); damn, I sure hope I get that shift. I haven't heard anything, but there are ways I can discover if the shift's still up for grabs, and it still appears to be so. *bites nails*
Tonight's the last rehearsal before day of the concert. I hope we run through everything. I'm looking forward to it.
I was sorely disappointed with Adult Swim last night. MC Chris is quitting, but I didn't think that would make much of a difference- maybe the timing is just coincidental, but oh my god did it suck last night. It was not funny at all. I was really annoyed that they didn't show Venture Brothers- they've been showing an episode Saturday and re-running it Sunday, so I didn't pay attention to it when it ran Saturday. Hub tells me it was a repeat. But surely the whole line-up wasn't carried by MC. Don't be sick, Adult Swim!

austinpanda, who has started posting- read his journal!) came by to borrow a little cash since thy hit a bit of a bump in the road financially. It was nice to talk to him and show off where I work. It's apparently pretty similar to his workplace. Who would've thought that 2 brainiacs such as us would end up in jobs like this. This does take brains to do, but I think all our teachers expected that we'd be curing cancer or being Supreme Court justices or some shit. Ah well.
