I'm waiting to hear Tom on the fundie station; sadly this means I'm listening to the fundie station. They're talking about how morally bankrupt liberal candidates local and national are, and how they want to take your money, steal fetuses from your womb, force you to marry a same-sex pedophile and so forth and so on. I'm glad Tom's speaking; he's really sharp and knows how to talk to the media, friendly or hostile.

The way this was set up is that Kirby and I went to lunch. We got to talking and decided to visit some witchy shops. The first one I went to, the lady asked 'hey, are you guys witches? There's some guy on a radio station wants to talk to a witch.' This happens every year around this time; the twist was that this guy hosts a talk show on a fundamentalist radio station and wanted someone today. I was busy and wasn't sure how well I could do against a presumably hostile host. I asked Gordon, but he said he knew he would not be able to keep his cool if they attacked him, and recommended our Public Information Officer. Fortunately I was able to get in touch with him in time.

The shop was a little bare due to various faire type traveling events- that's where a lot of their inventory is. We then went to a gothy consignment place (Secret Oktober), and they had all sorts of interesting clothes for really cheap. We were going to go to another place, but the guy who was going to install my door called and so we headed home. He's doing that now- death to the vertical blinds! Hooray!

it's still on; they're trying to tell Tom that he's going to hell for not accepting Jesus as his personal savior.

How's he holding up?

They cut him off and didn't always let him respond; they based their arguments on Bible passages and said things like 'well, obviously' or 'clearly' when things were blatantly not clear or obvious unless you believed the Bible to be the holywordofgodincarnate. Considering all that, I think he held his own pretty well. :)
