Apparently long hair is coming back in style. Check this out.

Obviously, I don't give a rat's ass about what's fashionable in a personal sense, but I have loved long hair on men since I got pubes, and it'll be nice to see a lot more of it for awhile, until buzz-cuts come back in style in a few years (eww).

It is nice to see long hair coming back into style, although like you said I've never been especially worried that I wouldn't be trendy enough with my long hair. I like the way it feels, I like the way it makes me look, and so I'm keeping it. I want it longer! :)

It's one of the reasons I've always enjoyed the Pagan and hippie/freak communities -- there are always plenty of men & women with long hair and plenty of people who appreciate it too (who doesn't enjoy someone asking if they can touch your hair? :).

It seems like people spend so much time worrying about trendiness and fashion. This guy doesn't care about his long hair except that's it's fashionable, but not too fashionable. People have a hard time thinking for themselves, it seems.

Ya, I've long thought that not doing something because it was popular was just as badly being a slave of fashion as following the herd. Self-expression should always overrule that sort of thing, period.

I wish I could grow long hair, but it never grows long, it just keeps growing out. A hair stylist told me it would take about 2 years to grow to where the weight will hang it down, and in the meantime it will look horrible and messy. I tried for about 6 months and it looked awful. I have only the fact that women spend $60 every few weeks to get it to curl like mine does naturally to console me. :P
