Bolt's bloodwork is actually pretty good; it's even better than it was last year. His BUN is 26 (normal is 15-34) and his creatinite is 2.3 (normal is 1.0-2.3). The vet's actually suggesting I cut back the sub-q to once a month (hooray!) and check him again in 2 months.
As to the listlessness and vomiting, she said to just keep an eye on him and maybe feed him a Pepcid for a couple of days. He wasn't like hangover vomiting, just a couple of times over the last week and the vet had previously said to watch out for that as a sign that his kidneys are going south. Well, not today... and he's even acting perkier (for him). So I'm guessing possibly a combination of the turmoil of the new household member and maybe the weird weather we've been having.
I'm so relieved!
