Gordon and I went to Austin Java Company for lunch. There used to be one up in my neighborhood and they did marvelous cakes. They'd have at least half a dozen to pick from, and in addition to the usual Italian cream and chocolate, they'd have amaretto and grasshopper and Snickers and orange vanilla and stuff like that... so I was looking forward to it, but they apparently didn't do many desserts at this location (key lime and chocolate cake and I think that was it) and the entrees at AJC were never that great. But, eh, it was fun conversation and adequately nutritious so what the heck.
Later today, 2-week post-surgical visit- hopefully Gyno will give me the all-clear for boffing and swimming. I'll let you know.
