I have always loved the Brit's bawdy sense of humor. I wish we were more like that here.

Americans are so unbelievably uptight about the human body, it's no wonder we have all the problems we do with teen pregnancy, birth control, porn, STDs, etc. You would think that people would have learned by now that trying to prohibit something that almost everyone wants only makes matters worse.

Meant to add - I liked a comentary I read by Kurt Vonnegut (was that you that posted a like to it?) about "The Passion" where he wondered why Gibson had chosen to focus on the death of Jesus instesd of his life, especially the surmon on the mont and the beatitudes.

To both comments I can but add- no doo-doo. And I seem to remember one of the big gripes the Christians had about 'JC Superstar' was that it focused on his death. That's something the Catholics have always puzzled me about; theirs are the most gory, detailed, awful crucifixes generally.
