Cathy's coming over to hang out with me in a few minutes. It'll be nice to see her.
Hub is going to go shooting with some friends on Thursday. Gordon had asked if he could come over and play Scrababble, and I belatedly remembered about the shooting and called him back. No, I didn't really feel like playing Scrababble with him alone (he's very competitive and I still feel half-stupid anyway) so we negotiated for a bit, and he finally said he would bring a puzzle over. I haven't done a puzzle in a long time; I used to be crazy about them as a kid (them and paint-by-numbers, yes, a little conformist I was) and did them all the time. He suggested I open puzzle night to any friends who might be interested, so anyone local (or non-local but in the area at the time :) who feels up to some hot puzzle action on Thursday evening, let me know.
I called Gyno's office and asked if the path report was in, and it was. The nurse said there were no tumors or anything but there was adenomyosis. I then asked for a copy of it and the surgery report, which they agreed to send if I sign and return a release form to them. That sounds reasonable. I did a bit of after-the-fact research after
00goddess mentioned hearing that CT scans can detect adenomyosis; I discovered that CT scans can't (which made sense, because I'd had one at my ER visit in April) but MRI scans can, sometimes. Not that it would have made much difference in my case, but knowing is half the battle blah blah blah.
