It's been a good day so far, for a work day.
Nancy loaned me a couple of air mattresses and I got to see her new house. It's pretty! I called Mom and she said she was able to pin the movers down to a specific day, Thursday, which would be nice if true. That way I can go up Thursday rather than Wednesday (they'd given us a 2-day window, so I was going to go up and just wait). She is leaving behind several things, including her couch (Goodwill refused to take it) and her bed (a soft-sided waterbed that just sprung a leak). She has not bothered to tell her landlady that she's moving, and boy will she be pissed off when she finds out (Mom still has a few months on the lease) since Mom knew a month ago. I can't imagine doing that but I am refusing to worry about it at this point. I have a call in to the movers to verify that it is Thursday. I'm tempted to just tell Mom I'm showing up Thursday, but if they come Wednesday to call me- I bet I can get out there before they finish loading up the truck.
When I got home from Nancy's I had to take more Vicodin, and crashed early. I slept late this morning too, and had no time for a shower so I feel all ooky. But Kirby gave me a tiny mocha swirl cheesecake (what a boon!) and calls have been pretty slow today so far. I haven't felt crampy today so far which is a big relief. My only complaint is that my jaw is hurting; I think from clenching it a lot. I hope that's all it is. One of the other things I plan to schedule soon is a visit to the chiropractor.
