We woke up late and poked our heads out- it was cloudy but breezy, so the humidity wasn't oppressive. We headed to the main stage where Belgian waffles were being served, and sat around and listened to conversations. The clouds cleared off, and someone brought out an old well-loved card game called 'Grass', which was described as Mille Bornes for stoners. It was amusing, and hub won, through a combination of luck and probably strategy he learned from all that Go. He then read a bit while I tested out the swimming pool- it was pretty chilly, so I spent a half-hour or so just walking around. Then more lazing, reading, and chatting until the main stage was taken over for trancework and yoga workshops that I didn't feel like engaging my brain for.

We decided to have some lunch and shag ourselves to exhaustion. Whee! A nice afternoon nap followed, then people started taking things up for the pot-luck. We were pretty full from our late lunch. I fed some tortillas to the fish in the river, who were hanging around the bank expectantly by the end of the camp-out. We wandered up and nibbled a little for dinner; there was caviar and salmon things and all sorts of stuff but I kept it light.

Back to the van for more shagging, then the drumming started. I brought my drum to the circle, and played along for a little while. There were maybe 3 others drumming, and a couple of others who danced around the fire or just hung around and chatted. Hub and I decided to walk around the grounds for awhile, then head back to the van for still more carnal fun. We were both ready to drift off to sleep by then, though since we hadn't eaten any dinner to speak of our stomachs woke us up around 4am. We had some munchies and tried to go back to sleep. I'm not sure if it was the fact that it seemed more still and humid and buggy or what, but I don't think either of us slept as well as we had the night before. We both woke up pretty early on Sunday.
