Class Thursday seemed to go swimmingly. It was about the Sabbats, and it's one I enjoy teaching so I had lots of fun. Next week is the Moon class, even funner! Friday was D&D- our most extroverted player was out of town so it was an unusually quiet session, and I got to ask the DM nosy questions that I've never had a chance to ask. He's all Yankee-like and was still pretty tight-lipped, but I feel like I know the guy a little better.
I still think about my evil ex, who was if nothing else a really fun guy to play D&D with, and wonder if he still plays. I got a rather strong urge to hunt him down, since hub is thinking about running a game sporadically and we could use more players. I think maybe I could handle it...
I spent a lot of Friday battling the Book Monster. Books have gotten piled up and stacked in the most inappropriate places; I'd pull some out for class and just stack them on the nearest horizontal surface after I was done with them. Things had gotten quite out of hand. So I decreased the pile of books by my bed down to less than 10, and managed to rearrange my bookshelves so that I could fit the rest in or around them. I could probably use about 3 more full-sized bookshelves to shelve them all nicely with breathing room, but this will have to do until I can convince the house to bud off a library room.
I also completed February: Month of Extra Work. My goal was to work 10 extra hours every week, and I did. I may still do five a week just to keep myself in hookers and crack money, but I'm glad we're otherwise done with. I'm going to enjoy sleeping in more.
Speaking of which, yesterday was probably the laziest day I've spent in awhile. We went out to Mrs.Johnson's bakery, which I hadn't done in awhile. Other'n that, it was all day reading and watching 'I Love the Seventies' on the telly, and that was about it. Oh, and we hot tubbed later that night. Just trying to keep my poop together.
Today I feel sort of run-down and stuffy, and my neck hurts. I'd rather not be at work, as usual. I'll live.
