Here's looking out the front door- this is the first thing I saw. The orange light is the streetlight.

A few steps into the street and looking back at the front door of the house. The snow on the live oaks is gorgeous! Compare to this shot...

This is taken in the back yard on the deck, looking at the roof. Compare to this shot...

Here's some local sproggen failing utterly to make a snowperson. Having snow in Austin as rarely as we do, they probably missed vital snowperson making skills at a crucial point in their development. It's not their fault, really.

Another angle from the street looking towards our house. There were some big fat flakes falling.

A neighbor's tree. The flash bounced off some of the flakes and made them look huge. Which they were!

The obligatory 'snow on the branches' shot. This was a neighbor's bush. I'm sure people were pretty tolerant of me wandering around snapping pictures in their yard; lots of people were out running around going 'ooh, aah!' and walking their dogs.
