I got to sleep in today. It was cold, the window was open, and I was feeling all toasty under the comforter- I love it.
I had a dream... it was very weird; Brö and I were in a strange city, and needed to find a job. I decided that somehow this would be easier if people thought I was mentally retarded, so I started talking sort of like Forrest Gump. Alton Brown showed up, and offered to help. He led us to a place where we would be the ones who said 'your call cannot be completed as dialed; please try again' because for some reason they didn't use a recording. He (Alton) said he was going to go look for more permanent work for us, and come back later. Then Brö started describing in detail what he would like to do to Alton sexually (I'm sure this is projection- I have the hots for Alton Brown, though the things Brö described would not be physically possible for me to do- but hey, it's like Tarot- all the people in a dream are you), when at that exact moment Alton popped back at our table to add something. I we tried to be straight-faced about it, but I could tell Brö was having a hard time so I started giggling. Brö lost it and fell off his chair and curled up under the table laughing. I remember having tears running down my cheeks because I was laughing so hard, and Alton looking confused and amused, saying 'what are you guys talking about? Do I even want to know?' which was just funnier. I realize it was such a 'you had to be there' moment that, being in a dream, I could never possibly convey... but I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. And in a dream yet! I even woke up soon after (probably why I remember so much of it) and my heart was still pounding like I had been laughing really hard. Which I was, in a way. Cool.
