Yesterday was a big pisser. I was at work, doing work stuff, and I started getting a headache around noon. It occurred to me that I'd been drinking more caffeine than none lately, so maybe I was needing a fix (I periodically stop drinking it for this reason) but I wanted to wait until my lunch break around 3pm. By then, the headache had gotten blindingly painful, and I was very nauseous. So I went home. It sucked a lot; I was hungry and nauseous at the same time, and my head felt like it was going to split open. I took some herbal remedy, ate a little and had some caffeine and went to sleep... the fact that I was able to drop immediately to sleep after drinking a soda makes me wonder. Anyway I woke up about 2-3 hours later, and felt perfectly fine. *shrug* Hope I don't have head cancer.

I slept sort of fitfully last night, probably because of the long nap. I remember a very odd dream where I met Bill Clinton and tried to get his autograph, but couldn't find a pen that worked. I finally found one, but then Bill was hot-rodding around in the parking lot with a friend, doing donuts and screwing around. I managed to find Hillary, and she and I sat around and chatted a bit. I remember expressing puzzlement about why people hated her so much- including my own dad, and mentioned that I might send him a copy of her autograph just to needle him. She laughed, and we seemed to get along well. As I wandered off, I looked down at the paper she had signed (the back of a shopping list or something I happened to have in my purse) and she had written a long note, and drawn a traffic intersection, like the kind you see in driver's ed- complete with little cars on it and everything. I was trying to figure out why, but never did and I think I woke up at some point later.

Heheh, that's a funny dream. I met Hilary Clinton once, at a Schenectady Democratic committee meeting that she spoke at. She was amazing - very articulate and well-spoken. No notes, crib sheets or prompters, and kept eye-contact the whole time. I have a photograph of me shaking her hand. She's a really cool woman, and very smart.

Ack! Bummer about your headache. I'm glad it got better.

Interesting dream about the Clintons.

That's how I felt last night and this morning...dizzy, nauseous, headache-y, and because I hadn't eaten. Bleh.
