Different Levels

There are a lot of women in the geeky hobbies. It varies from hobby to hobby. How many Sandman collectors are women? I'm guessing at least a third. How many roleplaying geeks are women? Something like a quarter, I'm guessing. How many World War II miniatures buffs are women? Um, one in ten, maybe.

If you're enough into a hobby that you only date people who share that hobby, that'll already restrict you a lot. Also, if you're het, and you're dating in a group that's 66% your own gender, that's a big enough difference to make things tough in that dating pool.

(I'm not personally complaining. I don't always date fellow geeks.)
