Miscellania, because I like to say 'miscellania'...
There was a display for the upcoming pearl exhibit (which I would like to see; hub doesn't give a rip so I'll have to find someone else who will go to Houston with me) that was a replica of the world's biggest pearl. It's called the Pearl of Allah. It's the same size and shape as a brain. We looked at it, and hub (I think) said 'hey, that looks like a brain'. Then we read the card, which said the pearl looked like a brain. Braaaaaiiiin!
The actor who played Lewis (or maybe Clark, I think it was Lewis) was really cute. Then Jeff Bridges said that Lewis (or maybe Clark) killed himself within 3 years of returning from the Big Expedition. I always pick the weird ones. Also, Sacagawea is pronounced nothing like I'd ever heard. IIRC, it's suh-KAG-uwuh.
I forgot to mention the pendulum. There was this big-ass pendulum which was cool. Uh, that's about it.
There's also a roundabout before you get to the museum. I screwed it up both coming and going, which caused hub to swear but I was kind of amused.
