I got me some plans.
Eric has tentatively agreed to crawl out of the cave and sally forth on two little trips... one is a camp-out in a couple of weeks with some friends of Ellen's. We're not going to CMA Samhain this year (big pagany camp-out); it's expensive, a lot of hassle and to be honest, I don't like the new land as much. I'll have to see if Cathy will let me borrow her van. Camping in the van is way easier.
The other is a trip that No Kidding! is trying to arrange to Las Vegas in March. They're attempting to get us a group rate at the Luxor- which is all Egyptiany. I've never had a major jones to gamble, see shows, or hire prostitutes, but I've always wanted to sight-see at all these theme places. Especially the Luxor because I love Egyptiany stuff. I'm trying to sell Eric on the sheer fun factor, and even trying to get my brother to go since he has been wanting to go to Vegas for the longest time. Finances are a big factor, but we'll see.

Once I actually get there, I don't expect to spend all that much. I'm just going to point and stare a lot. I can eat ramen there as easily as here. :)
I just saw a show on the Travel Channel about Vegas, and want to go gawk even more now!
I somehow don't feel like I'm being a good treehugger, but WTF.
