Note to everyone: if you buy really good maple syrup, like the grade B stuff you get at Whole Foods (despite the name, it's excellent syrup. Grade B means it's darker than Grade A, which is preferable to us anyway), do not shake it up. It foams like a bottle of Coke in slow motion, which is frustrating because all you can do is set the bottle in a dish and watch the stuff ooze all over the place. Hub is still swearing at it.
