I mentioned sometime back that we'd played CPS Factors and Descriptors Pictionary. F&D are a checklist of things that occur in an abuse or neglect situation that might mean things are more serious than might otherwise appear at first glance.







I had to write another confrontational email, and was really sweating the response. Then the person I wrote to called to shoot the breeze, and I ended up having to confront her over the phone when it became obvious that she hadn't read the email (and it would have been obvious later that I was being chicken-shit if I didn't mention it when I was speaking to her) which I was hoping to avoid. It went OK, but man! Confrontation sucks, and is never easy!

Is this a 'Thank you, Captain Obvious' moment?

So I've pissed away a lot of the day fretting about that. Now, I'm going to do my water change (fish gots ich, apparently my problem is not changing the water enough, among other things) and maybe swim before class starts. For various reasons only 1 person is showing up, but that's fine, it'll be fun. Tomorrow, we're getting up at the crack-o-dawn to drive to Sweetwater to visit with Dad and upgrade his stoopid computer.

By the way, I wasn't totally unproductive today. Because we all know, if you ain't productive you ain't shit. *bitch slaps stoic German upbringing* I paid bills, balanced ye olde cheque booke and did some laundry. And I'm still naked at 5pm! Woo!

sometimes resting is productive. it's letting the body regenerate.

Glad you axed! One of the beefys croaked right away. The other is spindly and not doing anything useful. One of the romas is not doing much, and the other has produced a few fruits. 2 of the six peppers are making peppers, the rest never got over about 6 inches tall and were all yellow, but they keep putting out a green leaf here and there, so we keep watering them. The spearmit went crazy, and we're still seriously thinking of planting it to take over some of the less frequented areas of the yard.

We also threw an avocado pit in the compist heap, and there's now what appears to be a foot-tall avocado plant. Wow! 8)

Apparently the avocado is prospering with your "benign" neglect so I guess I won't have to call FPS(fruit protective services) and turn you in. :)
