Another work week. Hub and I are currently debating over AIM the merits of having an orgy castle (his idea) versus an orgy temple (my idea). I suppose there lies a small depiction of our relationship. Heh.
Ham +1 was not bad- it didn't really pick up the flavors of the basting stuff like I'd expected, but it was still quite tasty. Bob was there, as well as Brenda, Cathy and Dave, and hub's mom and her girlfriend. Quite an eclectic group, and interesting conversation was had as well. They also all brought great side dishes too. :) We avoided any fireworks; we just mainly stayed inside (it was pretty rainy at points) and enjoyed company.
Oh, and I started Dedicant classes- I think they went OK. I gave one of the students a lift to River's, where she (River) was having a much more organized pot luck thing, and wanted to say hi but she'd stepped out. Oh well.
Yesterday was some more D&D at Brö's place. It went well- I think hub is getting the hang of DMing. We also watched the behind-the-scenes bit off the 'Spirited Away' dvd, which was cool. Other than that, it's been a lot of quiet time and reading, which suits me just fine.
Crepe myrtles are blooming everywhere in every shade of pink. The ones outside our window are covered with white. They seem to love the summer. I also hear a million crickets at night, and have been noticing cicadas too.
