Random thought...

Adult Swim has been showing Pee Wee's Playhouse. I never watched it when it originally aired, because people who wear a lot of make-up kind of creep me out. But man, this show is hysterical!

It also is something that apparently shaped my husband's language. On last night's episode, they were pretending to fly in an airplane. Pee Wee was announcing various sights to view out the window; the pyramids, Rome, and Mt. Fuji. He looked at the last one and said "Fuji-y!" That's so something Eric would say.

Somehow the fact that Paul Ruebens has a monumental collection of pornography just makes me like him more. And I really liked him in the Buffy movie. "Kill him a lot!" was, in fact, my favorite line in that movie and I use it when the occasion arises (which is less often than you'd think.)

So, we moved to a new office. There was a room, it was pointed out to me, where all the extra chairs lived. I figured I would take the opportunity to trade the old and busted for the new hotness. I mean, the arms were falling off. So I get this wonderful new chair with the tags still on it.

It was terrible.

No matter how I adjusted it, my back or ass or legs were hurting. Torture!

So I snuck back in and got an older chair. And my ass breathes a sigh of relief. Figuratively.

Check this out. It's kinda NSFW, in that it is a child's book that shows where babies come from. It's very cartoony while at the same time being very weirdly, Germanly graphic.

Okay, so the doctor in one of the pictures is holding a stethoscope, not weird. What is weird is the other picture where he's holding... something. Well, and that's completely ignoring the brain-meltingly weird picture of the birth in progress that the doctor is really secondary to. But anyway, in the words of an immortal Saturday Night Live skit, I ask you...
