Jun. 1st, 2006 03:35 pmI kept feeling worse yesterday... by the end of the day my throat was burning and I was all phlegmy and yucky feeling. Eric was off playing games with his posse, so I just made myself an artichoke and watched TV and played Sudoku. I took a hit of Nyquil and went to sleep.
I don't think I'm going to take that stuff anymore. I don't sleep well when I do, and I wake up disoriented, not knowing where I am. It's disturbing as hell. Thus I decided to take today off. It probably looks odd that as soon as I get some leave I use it up, but screw it. I slept 'til 12:30, which is a definitely a sign than I'm fighting off a bug. I know I joke about being lazy, but I don't sleep 13 hours unless something's wrong.
In addition to being the day I got my leave, it's also payday. I can finally pay those bills that were on the counter when bottle of the cats' fish oil supplement was knocked over. Thankfully I can pay them online. They smell strongly of fish, and just the time it took me to open them made me want to gag.
In other smell news, something's weird about the washer. It smells really mildew-y all the time, and we can't figure out why. I guess I'm going to try to run a whole bunch of bleach through it. It's bad enough that I can smell it in another room through a closed door. Time for more BPAL!
