So I got to sleep around 3am. And pounding on the door commences at around 8, oh yeah the window guys. Fortunately hub has taken the day off so he handles that. But oh noes, they are sawing with electric saws and hammering and doing other noisy manly things. And every time I try to nest somewhere to catch some sleep, they have to be in that room for some reason. I've been zombie-ing around the house all morning. I guess I might as well try to do some chores and be useful. ( update on the home improvements )

When we got married, I asked hub if he cared if I changed my last name to his or not. He did not. I asked him if he was willing to change his last name to mine, and he was not. So I figured if he didn't want to bother with it, I didn't either- we weren't planning to have kids so I couldn't really see any practical reason in it, and I'm lazy.

However, according to this article, that makes me a 'shrieking feminist' feigning insult by throwing hub's name back at him, and he puts up with it because he is 'brainwashed'. ( Read more... )
