Tile, day 3

The room is all tiled. That's all that happened, because this involved cutting a lot of weird shapes and we got a late start. I cut a stack of tiles that will be glued onto the wall in place of the baseboards, and only sustained minor injury! Go me!

Probably the gluing of the baseboard tiles will occur today, and the grouting will pretty much have to happen tomorrow.

It's just as well. Hub busted his ass yesterday. My allergies are acting up again. Today we rest.

Tile, day 4

I made it sound like we were finished by saying we had all the tile down, but I meant that we just had it all glued to the floor. We still have to grout it and seal it, and we could've done that today but we didn't. We went to Cathy and Dave's and ate hot dogs and apple pie and played board games. Tomorrow, we grout.

This still counts as day 4 though, because hub chipped away some of the mortar so the grout will have a place to go. So work was actually done.
