(no subject)

It's been the weekend of D&D. Sunday we played (8th level at last!) in Mike's game, and yesterday was hub's second game. I think he's doing well. Of course, it was mostly a big fight, and I'm playing a fighter so sure I liked it. But then again, he said that we'd not gone where he'd planned and he had to rewrite the order of things in his head. He did it seamlessly; I wouldn't have had a clue if he hadn't mentioned it.

Today I'm hanging around while pool guy installs our new liner, which he claims will work out a lot better than the one we had installed 2 years ago since we're having a foam liner put down first. And I'm arguing with Phil about how man-porn is woefully lacking in smiling men. I mean it, they're always scowling, frowning, or otherwise looking like someone's told them they're about to be audited. All the while (at this particular fantasy artist's site he sent me to) they're sporting boners the size of baseball bats, and you'd think they'd be more pleased. He said it is the I'm-gonna-fuck-your-brains-out look full of macho gravitas. I wondered why a man who was about to get some would look so crabby. But then, I'm not their target audience I guess.
