This is spectacular. It's a very well-done twist on a Chick tract. And I somehow missed it when contentlove posted it, but saw it just in time when fulguritus posted it to send it to my dad, who forwarded me some bilge about how Noah couldn't build the ark because of OSHA and the ACLU and PETA and so on... and incidentally ended with God saying "I won't bother destroying the earth because the government already has"- which makes me wonder if he really thinks PETA and the ACLU are 'the government'. But I expect he just forwarded it without thinking about it that much. *eyes rolling* So anyway, thanks guys, that was a perfect comeback.

Vedic Astrology Originally I found this link at the bottom of an email that explained to me how Saturn is going to fuck us all up the bum in the next few months, and we're all going to be really sorry. I don't know much about Vedic astrology, and now I'm even more curious. Though I don't think I agree with this guy's conclusions, it'd still be interesting to see how he got there. Looks like it has some good basic information too.

After a nice walk we went to Fry's and to get me a new cd drive. Not only can I burn cds now if I want to, but it's a zillion times faster in converting existing cds into iPod fodder, and has been 100% accurate so far. I've got over 1200 songs in the thing. I love it.

I feel weird. I have odd pain in my mid-chest area. After a panicked initial assessment (you do that when you have a family history of heart attacks) I'm pretty sure it's not any of the more important guts, but something musculo-skeletal. It feels like my rib cage or the cartilage or something. It feels worse when I slouch, which I do a lot being on the tall side. So, ow.
