Alright, so I was bad and went home 'sick' yesterday at 2. The weather! The Sun! It was criminal to have to work! Of course we ended up going to the store, what fun that isn't, but eh, it got me off my ass. I couldn't believe how clear it was- I often look at the sky and right near the horizon and it fades from blue to a washed-out pale almost white, or even yellowish on high pollution days. But yesterday it was the exact color of blue at the horizon as it was straight up.

I used my markers to go back and color one of my BOTA cards. I have only colored maybe 6 of the 22, because painting them or using colored pencils is sort of a pain in the ass. But markers- woo! That was fun! The only finishing up I'm going to need to do is the flesh-colored bits (the one I did was Key 1, The Magician) and draw in some detail over the metallic stuff. The regular colors are transparent so lines show through, but the metallic ones are totally opaque- the pentacle looks like a gold blob.

We had a lovely dinner of garlic mushroom pasta and artichokes. Damn, I sure love artichokes! How did I get to 36 without realizing that before? Bob came over and he and hub made music on a new program he had. Stephen was invited, but had other dinner plans. Kit pinged us at the last minute and we invited him over- Adult Swim was very amusing as always, though I think we disappointed our guests by kicking them out at midnight so we could toil for The Man the next day. How unfair life is. :P

I wanted some cherry flavored yogurt, and they didn't have any in low-fat or non-fat in the brand I prefer (there's a cow on the label, and it screams 'granola eating hippie company'). But they did have some in whole milk yogurt, so I got that. I had it for my snack today, and man! That stuff tastes weird! The texture is all oily and unpleasant. This is probably what regular-fat-levels taste like in yogurt; I suppose I should count myself lucky that I have become acclimated to prefer the lower fat varieties. I remember Oreos being the same way... I ate a lot of low-fat Oreos for snacks then ended up with regular ones once and thought the texture was way too lard-a-riffic. Bleah.

Hub is at Go Club, and will probably be there 'til 10. He went last week, but I visited a friend and got home about the same time he did. It will be weird to come home to an empty house tonight. What will I do? Probably read and burn incense. Maybe I'll color more BOTA cards; The Magician was so yellow, it would be nice to counter that with all the blue in The High Priestess.

I'm sweating waiting for my review at work here in about 1/2 hour. I know that some of my stats are not as good as they oughta be, so it remains to be seen if she focuses on those or on the good ones. Part of my problem is that I surf the net too much at work. There, I said it. I'm trying to be better about it though.
