Jan. 11th, 2004 11:43 amSome filament or other is burned out in our heater, rendering our home without heat. We still have hot water and hot tubs and gas stoves, so it really could be a lot worse. The guy came out almost immediately, he just has to get a part. We slept with a space heater in our bedroom and it was quite comfy (and the cats were more snuggly than usual, as you could imagine). I'd certainly rather go without heat for a few days in the winter than without a/c for even a day in the summer here.
I still have something wrong with my neck. I expect it's some tension-related stuff, but I've been more tense over the last few months and it hasn't been this bad. I went to the chiropractorb on Friday, but woke up yesterday with it feeling worse than ever. Naproxen and hot tubbing and hobbit leaf helped some but it's still bothering me quite a lot today. Bean's said she'd come over and 'squish' on it when I get off work... I haven't had any sort of massage in years, I hope it helps. Otherwise I'll have to wait 'til Wednesday to go to the chiro again. As much as I may bitch about my insurance, I'm glad it covers this.
